On Tuesday, June 10th in the French Pavilion SCZG<\/strong> the 13th edition of Zgraf<\/strong> titled Pleasure to All<\/strong><\/em> was open.
\nZgraf is an international manifestation of graphic design and visual communications, which has been happening in Zagreb since 1975<\/strong>, thus celebrating its 50th anniversary<\/strong>. The organizer is the Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts – ULUPUH<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The circular cardboard labyrinth of this year’s main Zgraf exhibition in the French Pavilion displays 184 works<\/strong> by international and local designers.<\/p>\n

At the opening of the exhibition, the following awards were presented: Grand Prix, Zgraf I, Zgraf II, Zgraf Excellence, Zgraf Welcome, and 11 Honorable Mentions<\/strong>. The featured works were selected among the entries by the International Jury of Zgraf 13, which consists of prominent names from the world design scene: Peter Bankov, Melike Tascioglu Vaughan, Don Ryun Chang, Izvorka Juri\u0107, and Lawrence Zeegen<\/strong>. The Jury of the Croatian Section of the International Association of Art Critics AICA, consisting of Boris Greiner, Fe\u0111a Vuki\u0107, and Bojan Dmitrovi\u0107 Kri\u0161tofi\u0107<\/strong>, awarded one AICA award.<\/p>\n

ZGRAF 12 GRAND PRIX: BALKAN ITERUM<\/strong><\/p>\n

The main prize of Zgraf<\/strong>, the Grand Prix at Zgraf 12<\/strong>, was awarded to the Croatian designer duo Marija Juza and Nikola \u0110urek<\/strong>, for their work Balkan type system<\/strong>. On this occasion, on Friday, 13.6. at 8 p.m. in the gallery of the Serbian Cultural Center in Zagreb, their Balkan Iterum<\/strong> exhibition opened. The exhibition remains open until June 24.<\/p>\n
