PETER BANKOV

Peter Bankov was born in Minsk, where he studied as a sculptor, followed by studying book designing and illustration in Moscow. Today he lives and works in Prague as a designer and teacher. He is the recipient of numerous international awards, such as TDC NY Excellence Award 2022, Red Dot Award 2020 and the Gold prize by the Italian Posters Biennale 2015, to name a few.

 

DON RYUN CHANG

Don Ryun Chang is a prominent international academic and practioning figure in the field of branding, design, and is currently Professor at the Yonsei University Songdo Underwood Campus and was professor at Hongik University in Seoul, Korea for 25 years with the Faculty of Visual Communication Design. His extensive career includes significant roles such as the CEO of Interbrand Korea and the President of the International Council of Graphic Design Associations (ICOGRADA, now known as Ico-D.) Professor Chang has made substantial contributions to major international events, notably as the Design Chair for the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympics. His leadership also extended to the Korean Government Identity program and various other transformative branding projects that have had significant cultural and industrial impacts worldwide.

 

LAWRENCE ZEEGEN

Professor Lawrence Zeegen, in a career spanning over 35 years, has worked extensively across design education and creative industries. Having led many of the UK’s foremost design faculties, lecturing in 25 countries, he is author of nine internationally published books on graphic arts. Lawrence’s commercial practice includes work for major international newspapers, magazines, book publishers, design studios and advertising agencies. Lawrence is Director for the Creative Computing Institute at University of the Arts London – leading research at the intersection of creativity and computational technologies and the application of AI and machine learning, creative coding, computational environments, robotics, smart products and wearables into the creative industries.

 

IZVORKA JURIĆ

Izvorka Jurić is a graduate designer and educator with extensive experience in the field of design. After completing her studies at the School of Design, Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb, in 2000, she co-founded TRIDVAJEDAN Market Communications with two partners. Since then, she has taken on various roles within the company, including managing partner, designer, art director, and creative director. In 2011, she launched her independent practice, Design Bureau Izvorka Jurić, where she worked on numerous design-related projects. In 2023. she partnered with Jurica Kos and changed the name of her studio to Dig Studio, which she leads today, and collaborates with a team of experts on various visual communication projects. She is employed as an assistant professor at the School of Design, Faculty of Architecture, University of Zagreb, where she teaches courses such as Branding Strategies, Design Management, and Sustainable Design.

 

MELIKE TAŞCIOĞLU VAUGHAN

Melike Taşcıoğlu Vaughan is a designer, artist and academic with a doctorate in graphic design, working as a full-time Professor at Anadolu University. Vaughan has published two books, also working as a book designer, mainly with international independent publishers focusing on issues of social injustice. She is a board member of the Turkish Graphic Designers Association (GMK) and President of the International Council of Design (ICoD) for the 2024-2026 term.
